Vuyelwa Carlin

Vuyelwa Carlin was brought up in Uganda and has now lived in Shropshire for many years. I love both places. She is interested in the extremes of good and evil and the challenges of religious faith. She has had five poetry collections published to date, and has recently completed a sixth, Holy Island, containing poems dealing with the above preoccupations; along with poems about her childhood in Uganda, and her beloved father, who always encouraged her writing.

Vuyelwa Carlin's work featured in Stand Magazine comprises two contributions of poetry and one article, over a period of 25 years.
