Anita Pati has won the Wasafiri Prize for Poetry, the inaugural Women Poets’ Prize and will have her first pamphlet, Dodo Provocateur, published later this year by The Rialto. The vulnerable species of Olive Ridley sea turtles mainly nests on the coast in Odisha, India, where Anita’s family originates.
