Ann Leahy

Ann Leahy’s first collection, The Woman who Lived her Life Backwards (Arlen House, 2008), won the Patrick Kavanagh Award. She has also been awarded second place in the Yeovil Literary Prize, 2019, and has been a runner-up and highly commended, respectively, in the Troubadour International Prize in 2018 and 2020. Her poems have been commended in the British National Poetry Competition and she has been widely published in journals, including The North, Poetry Ireland Review, The Irish Times, Agenda, Orbis, and New Welsh Review.



Ann Leahy's work featured in Stand Magazine comprises one contribution of poetry and one article, over a period of 20 years.
