Balli Kaur Jaswal is a Singaporean novelist with family roots in Punjab. Her first novel, Inheritance, won the Sydney Morning Herald’s Best Young Australian Novelist Award; her second, Sugarbread, was a finalist for the 2015 Epigram Books Fiction Prize. Her most recent novel is Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows (2017).
