Cécile Marshall is a senior lecturer at Bordeaux Montaigne University (France), where she teaches English literature and translation. She obtained a PhD on the works of Tony Harrison in 2007. A translator of Harrison, she won the European Prize for Literature’s Translation Prize for Cracheur de feu (2010). She has acted as translator and interpreter for Harrison on several of his visits to France.
