Christina Buckton has worked with the BBC, in education and as a counsellor and play therapist. She has been reading writing and looking all her life, but has only recently started to explore poetry in her eighties. She has published poems in various magazines, including The North and Orbis. She won awards at the Guernsey International poetry competition in 2018 and 2020. She lives near Cambridge.
