Claire Booker is a Brighton-based poet with a first collection, A Pocketful of Chalk (Arachne Press 2022), inspired by the South Downs. Her pamphlets are The Bone That Sang (Indigo Dreams, 2020) and Later There Will Be Postcards (Green Bottle Press, 2016). Her work has been widely published in various poetry magazines, and on Guernsey buses and Worthing pier. She won the 2023 Poetry Society Stanza Competition, and was runner-up in 2021.
