Gözde Zülal Solak was born in 1989 in Izmir. She graduated from Ege University’s American Culture and Literature department with her thesis on ‘Sapphism in American Poetry in the 20th Century’. Besides being a voluntary translator at TED, she has translated work in literary magazines, and academic and literary works. She continues to translate literary works and books.
