Jay G. Ying is a Chinese-Scottish writer, critic and translator based in Edinburgh. He has been published in The White Review, Ambit, The London Magazine, and others. His pamphlet Wedding Beasts (2019) is published by Bitter Melon. He was a winner of the 2019 New Poets Prize, and is a co-founder of the Scottish BAME Writers Network.
