Joan Anim-Addo’s poetry includes the collections Janie, Cricketing Lady, and Haunted by History. A librettist and scholar, she is currently Emeritus Professor and Director of the Centre for Caribbean and Diaspora Studies (Goldsmiths, University of London). She is Associate Editor of Callaloo, Journal of African Diaspora Arts and Letters. She is Editor of Blacklines, the journal of Black British writing.
