John Cassidy has published several collections with Hutchinson and Bloodaxe. His work has appeared in numerous anthologies and on radio and television. He was the first tutor in Creative Writing at the University of Bolton, where he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate.

John Cassidy's work featured in Stand Magazine comprises seven contributions of poetry, over a period of 12 years.
