John H McGlynn, publisher and editor, has translated several dozen Indonesian titles and, through the Lontar Foundation, has ushered into print 200+ books on Indonesian language, literature, and culture. He has helped to shape the world view of Indonesian literature, creating a canon of Indonesian literature in English.
