Julian Turner’s first collection, Crossing the Outskirts (Anvil Press, 2002) was shortlisted for the Forward Prize Best First Collection Prize and was a Poetry Book Society recommendation. His fourth collection, Desolate Market, was published by Carcanet in 2018. He has just finished being Royal Literary Fund Fellow at the University of Leeds.
