Katalin Szlukovény, born 1977, is a poet, translator and scholar. Her first book of poetry, Kisérleti nyúlorr (The Lab Rabbit’s Nose) appeared in 2005; others followed, most recently Álomkonyha (Dream Kitchen) in 2020. She has won a series of major prizes both for her own work and for her translations from writers such as Herman Hesse, Italo Calvino, and Virginia Woolf.
