Lauren Delapenha is from Montego Bay, Jamaica. She received a Master’s in Creative Writing from the University of Oxford in 2019. Since then, she has received the Grindstone Literary International Poetry Prize, and a Pushcart Prize nomination in 2020. Her work has appeared in The Scores, The Crank, PREE, and other anthologies. She currently lives and teaches in Connecticut.
