Lydia Kennaway was born in New York, but has lived in Yorkshire for over 40 years. She recently completed an MA in Poetry Writing at the University of Newcastle. Her poems have appeared in a number of magazines, including The Rialto, Strix, Ink Sweat & Tears and Poetry & Audience. She won the Flambard Poetry Prize in 2017 and her pamphlet A History of Walking was published by HappenStance in 2019.
