M. Aan Mansyur was born in Boné, South Sulawesi, and now lives in Makassar where he works as a librarian. Literary curator for the Makassar International Writers Festival since its establishment in 2011, he has published numerous collections of poetry, one of which passed the 100,000 mark in sales.
