Maggie Harris is a Guyanese writer living in the UK. Her poetry has twice won The Guyana Prize and she was the Caribbean winner of The Commonwealth Short Story Prize. She has been involved in residencies and collaborations including the Out of Bounds project and the British Library’s Windrush Exhibition. ‘Lit by Fire’ was commissoined for BBC Radio National Poetry Day. Her latest collection is On Watching a Lemon Sail the Sea (Cane Arrow Press).
