Maitreyabandhu is a Buddhist teacher, poet, critic, and writer. He has published three poetry pamphlets and three full-length collections with Bloodaxe Books: The Crumb Road (2013), a PBS Recommendation, Yarn (2015), and After Cézanne (2019), a sequence of 56 poems about the life of the painter. He was ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order in 1990 and lives and works at the London Buddhist Centre.

Maitreyabandhu's work featured in Stand Magazine comprises three contributions of poetry, over a period of 11 years.
