Miriam Balanescu is a freelance books and film writer for The Guardian, The New Statesman, and The Independent. Her short stories, poems and prose poems have been published in The Airgonaut, Footnotes, Polyglossia and streetcake. Her play Three Parts to Sing was performed at the Downing Festival of New Writing in 2018.
