Born in London, Omar Sabbagh now lives in Dubai, where he works as an Associate Professor of English and Creative Writing at the American University of Dubai. He is a widely published poet, writer, and critic. His fifth collection, But it was an Important Failure, was published by Cinnamon Press in 2020.
