Born in New York City, Robert N. Friedland currently practises human rights and administrative law in Vancouver. His fiction has been published in Canada, the United States, England, and Japan. His short story collection Faded Love was longlisted by Canada’s ReLit Awards for its Best Books for 2010. His first novel is The Second Wedding of Doctor Geneva Song (Libros Libertad, 2011).
