Sasha Dugdale is currently working on translations of the Russian poet Maria Stepanova for publication by Fitzcarraldo and Bloodaxe Books in 2020. She is poet-in-residence at St John’s College, Cambridge. Her poem ‘Eternal Feminine’, in this issue of Stand, is part of a series of poems about the artist Eric Gill.
