Yousif M. Qasmiyeh’s research at the University of Oxford examines time and containment in Arabic and English literary texts tracing the journeys of refugees. He is Writer-in-Residence for the Refugee Hosts research project, Arabic language researcher on the Prismatic Translation strand of the Creative Multilingualism project at Oxford, and ‘Creative Encounters’ editor for Migration and Society.
